The first 2015 SASA Winter life drawing session

On Saturday 20 June a group of SASA members gathered at the scout hall in Newlands for the first of our winter life drawing sessions. We were lucky to have Kitty, with her high contrast “Mary Quant” look, as our model for the morning and everyone was captivated by her beautiful shapes and poses.

Though the hall was cold, we all soon forgot about that, as we became absorbed in our work and three very productive hours flew quickly by. Most of us could’ve carried on drawing all day.

A big thank you goes to Lyn Northam, for the use of her equipment, as well as all her advice and practical assistance. All in all, a great start to the season.
