This morning a small, but intrepid group
of sketchers braved the elements and hiked
from the Silvermine dam to the viewpoint overlooking Hout Bay.
We set off in sunshine, but there was a chilly wind and thick cloud pouring off the mountain at the top.
The spectacular view more than made up for the less than perfect weather and once settled in sheltered spots, we were spoiled for choice of composition.
We walked down windswept, but content, with
some new pages in our sketch books filled with
inspiration.
