Janine Downing

I began my art career late in life when I was in my early sixties. I studied drama when I was young and taught drama at different schools. I then started my own voice clinic called Speechwise and retired three years ago.
I never had any inclination to paint when I was young, but I wanted to do something creative as I got older.
My art sustains me through all life’s hurdles .I am passionate about painting and I’m passionate about life! I paint only images that are hopeful and make me happy. I don’t paint realistically, but rather listen to the feelings that inspire me while I paint.
