Saturday 16 July was the last of the SASA life drawing sessions for this season and a very interesting one it was.
Vanessa, who had her debut session with the group, presented us with a whole new landscape of voluptuous curves, so different from what we’ve become used to in the past few weeks.
It was a wonderful challenge to fill up our pages with the ripe, roundness of her shapes.
Vanessa was so inspired by the artistic energy, that we were treated to an impromptu performance of “Love” from “The Prophet” by Kahlil Gibran. For those of you who expressed an interest, Vanessa will be performing the complete story of “The Prophet” at 14:00 on 23 July in the library at the Cape Town City Hall.
A very big thank you to Gayle Gerber and her team of willing helpers, for stepping in and running the morning’s session at very short notice.
