2016 SASA Life Drawing Sessions

This Saturday 18 June was the first of our Winter life drawing sessions and what a wintry day it was, though we were warm and dry inside the Newlands Scout Hall. We had a “capacity crowd”, with many new faces among the regulars.

The marvelous Kitty was our model for the morning and everyone was completely absorbed in trying to capture her particular charm. The lovely shapes and gestures of her poses inspired some wonderful work, no matter from which angle she was viewed.

Whether in charcoal or pencil, water colour or oil paint, there were definitely many frame-worthy works produced this morning.

Thanks everyone for a lovely, productive morning and thanks as well, to all who helped with setting up and tidying up.
